Limited Edition

LIMITED EDITION PRINTS These prints are available for purchase as a collectable Limited Edition. They are hand colored and printed on Ultra Premium Luster paper, and are signed and numbered by the artist. Please send me an email at tim@straussphotos.com for purchase details on the signed prints. $99 per print (8 1/2 x 11) $199 per SUPER SIZED print (16 x 20) Each print is a limited edition of 100 prints total. I have sold a number of these prints in both the smaller size, as well as larger sizes, and double matting them with a simple frame is an excellent way to display the print.

This shot was one of the first shots taken with my Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens. I was excited to try out my new toy, and driving home from work I noticed the sky was shaping up to have a nice sunset. I climbed both the West and East Cliffs overlooking 360 (the first time I ever did this!!!) and got this shot as the sun was setting (of course, shooting at wide angle - 10mm). Luckily the party boat was approaching the bridge at the same time. This has become one of my most popular limited edition prints to date.

This photo was taken at dusk in the beautiful city of Tubingen, Germany on Neckar, outside of Stuttgart . It was taken on a weekend trip where I went to the Cannstatter Volkfest, which had been termed the "real" Oktoberfest (Munich will disagree). Anyway, this "handheld" shot was taken by balancing my camera on the bridge, and shooting at ISO 800 and .6sec shutter speed. I have done minimal post processing. This photo is currently ranked as a "Top 500" photo of all-time on Smugmug.

This shot is taken using a special macro technique. In this shot, I'm focused on the popular fall flower, the mum. The lighting for this shot was very good, and I love the colors my camera was able to capture on the opened mum in focus, and the blurred mums about to open in the background. This is 1 of 3 macro fall flower photographs I took that day. The other 2 are available as a limited edition print as well, and together would make a great collection. Please contact me if interested in seeing the set of 3.

One of my favorite shots, this is also a handheld shot taken from a bridge (balanced again) in the "valley" looking up at the catheral. Dom Saint Peter in Regensburg, Germany is quite impressive. This photo was done at ISO 200 and 6 second shutter speed. I had to do a little bit of post processing to clean up the sky, and brighten up the trees and road in the foreground. Also some sharpening for the steeples. Again, one of my favorites.

Taken in Munchen Germany on the 8's trip, this shot (taken before Mike's Bike Tour) shows the crowd in Marienplatz, with the interesting cloud formation in the background. Processed to show the detail in the "new" city hall, this shot has a different feel about it.

I took this photo as part of a digital photography class trip to the Missions in San Antonio. Mission San Jose is a well preserved mission, and on this morning we had clear blue skies, and had some fall blooms. This shot was taken from under an arch, which framed the architecture of the mission. This was one of the shots I took on my way to mass in the morning before my classmates arrived, giving me some good shadow lines from the arches.
